A bungee jump from a suspension bridge spanning a canyon was meant to be the ultimate testament to his absolute self-assurance. But when the cord snaps, Arthur falls not only from the bridge but also from the entire illusion of control he had constructed. During the fall, Arthur is swept through a series of distorted realities: a medieval battlefield, a steampunk machine, a cyberpunk city, a hall of mirrors, and the void of space. In each world, Elena appears as the only one who sees the truth he has always denied.
